Your story requests are sent to Google Gemini API for processing. Google may use this data according to their API terms. We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

DATA RETENTION

Account data: kept until you delete your account
Chat history (Pro): kept until you delete it or cancel Pro
Daily usage counters: automatically cleared after 30 days
Payment records: kept for 7 years as required by law

Access — request a copy of your personal data
Correction — update incorrect information
Deletion — request deletion of your account and data
Portability — receive your data in a readable format

COOKIES

ICARUS uses minimal cookies for authentication purposes only (session tokens from Supabase). We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

ICARUS is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately.

DATA SECURITY

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

All data transmitted over HTTPS encryption
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
Database access restricted by Row Level Security (RLS)
API keys stored as environment variables, never in code

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
